About the role

A Medical-Surgical (MS) RN will manage the care of adult patients experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures. The position requires a solid clinical background and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for adults with general medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Treat patients with a wide range of acute health conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa.
• At least one year of recent, relevant clinical experience.
• Current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and experience in medical-surgical settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours long, nights only, starting on August 10, 2026, for a duration of 26 weeks.
