Job Details

• Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
• Shift: Day Shift, 06:15 AM to 06:45 PM
• Schedule: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
• Total Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Current Colorado RN license or ability to obtain
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or completion within 3 months
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification or completion within 3 months
• Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) experience required
• Minimum of 5 years of Med Surg or Emergency Room experience
• Previous traveler experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Administer medications
• Operate infusion pumps
• Document in Cerner EHR
• Provide patient and family education
• Interpret cardiac rhythms
• Practice infection control
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, sound judgment, adaptability, and compliance with facility policies

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy work, including lifting, pushing, pulling, standing, and walking
• Assist with patient movement
• May involve exposure to blood, bodily fluids, chemicals, and communicable diseases
