Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $2,100 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse position involves providing comprehensive nursing care, assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The role supports patient education, documentation, and adherence to clinical standards for a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care
• Conduct patient assessments
• Plan and execute care interventions
• Document patient care accurately
• Facilitate patient teaching and discharge planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrate sound knowledge base in bio-psychosocial models
• Delegate appropriately
• Support unit/hospital quality improvement and educational goals

Requirements

• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
• 0 to 6 months of related experience
• Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Attention to detail
• Completion of basic professional curriculum of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing or holds a diploma or degree

Preferred Qualifications

• ER experience

Schedule

• Rotating shifts
• 12 hours per shift
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
