We are seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg position at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. The unit is 6W Transplant Nephrology, located in the Main building.
Unit Specifics
- Number of Beds: 20
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Unit staffing: Unit secretary during the day, PCTs available, unit educator
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: 3 weekend shifts per month
- On Call Requirements: None
- Floating policy: Agency/Contract nurses float first
- Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs; black scrub pants permitted
Hospital Specifics
- Certifications: Level 1 trauma center
Requirements
- Requested Skill Set: Med/Surg, nephrology, kidney transplants, renal, dialysis
- Must have: ADN
- Procedures performed on unit: Med/surg care; dialysis is done off the unit
- Certifications Required: BLS
