About the role
Travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 14-week assignment starting August 3, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency services in a 16-bed critical access hospital on the scenic north shore of Lake Superior.
- Serve a diverse patient population, including residents and visitors to the area.
- Work in a charming lakeside town surrounded by the Superior National Forest.
- Travel to Duluth, approximately a two-hour drive from Grand Marais, for urban amenities and travel connections.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or a compact state.
- At least one year of recent emergency room experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with Meditech electronic medical record (EMR) systems is helpful.

Schedule
36 hours per week, 12 hours shift, nights.
