Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,978 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Alcohol Detox Unit contract in Bethesda, Maryland.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment in a hospital setting, focusing on specialized care for patients in alcohol detoxification. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in alcohol detoxification in an acute hospital setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms to identify any complications.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on detox processes and aftercare instructions.

Requirements

• Must have two years of acute care hospital nursing experience in medical-surgical care as an RN.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts (2 eights and 2 twelves).
• Days, with weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay

Pay range: $1,820.20 - $1,911.21 per week (based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
