About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse patient population, including post-operative, orthopedic, neurological, and general medical cases
- May float to other medical-surgical units as needed
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Two years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Sunrise
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts, days and nights
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week duration
- Start date: ASAP (listed as 8/14/2026 in posting)
Pay
$1928.00 - $2026.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined)
