Responsibilities

• Provide specialized cardiac monitoring and care in a lively city with arts, riverfront parks, and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Care for patients who require continuous cardiac monitoring at the facility, using telemetry equipment to track heart rhythms and vital signs.
• Interpret EKGs, respond to cardiac emergencies, and document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• A valid Iowa RN license.
• Recent experience in telemetry, progressive care, or cardiac step-down units.
• Skilled in interpreting EKGs, responding to cardiac emergencies, and documenting care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse.
• MS Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted).
• Certifications: BLS.
• References: 1 Reference in entire work history.
• Must have License/Cert Flu and COVID vaccine required, medical or religious exceptions are accepted.
• Float Requirement: as needed in skillset.
• EMR: Epic exp required.
