Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,952 per week

About the role

A Medical-Surgical (MS) RN will manage the care of adult patients experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures. The position requires a solid clinical background and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for adults with general medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Treat patients with a wide range of acute health conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).
• At least 1 year of recent, relevant clinical experience in a medical-surgical setting.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.
• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing practices and protocols.
• Experience with medical equipment and supplies.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
