Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,933 per week

About the role

A Medical-Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide care for adult patients with general medical conditions or surgical procedures. The position requires a strong clinical background and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the care of adult patients with general medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Treat patients for a wide variety of acute health conditions.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio.
• At least one year of recent, relevant clinical experience.
• Current BLS certification (CPR).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices.
• Experience with electronic health record systems.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Shifts are 12 hours long, nights only.
