Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,930 per week

Job Summary

A Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Hilo, Hawaii. This role involves providing level medical-surgical care to adult patients, with the possibility of floating to other units. Candidates are required to bring their Hawaii Nursing License on the first day. This is a 13-week assignment scheduled to start on 07/20/2026, with shift flexibility for day or night shifts. The work schedule is 36 hours per week following the initial orientation week.

Job Details

• Location: Hilo, Hawaii

Required Qualifications

• Hawaii Nursing License
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in med surg or higher level of care
• Current Hawaii license must be obtained by the start date

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification

Responsibilities

• Providing med/surg level care to patients aged 18 and over
• May float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units

Equipment Utilized

• Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Pyxis
• wound vacuum
• chest tubes

Department-specific Training

Included during the first week of orientation.

• Candidates must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointments

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
