About the role

Medical Surgical RN. This position involves delivering comprehensive nursing care in a high‑acuity Renal Med‑Surg unit specializing in patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post‑dialysis needs, and complex medical‑surgical conditions. The role requires managing a diverse patient population with continuous monitoring, assessments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in renal and medical‑surgical care, managing patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post‑dialysis needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post‑dialysis needs, and complex medical‑surgical conditions.
• Manage a diverse patient population with continuous monitoring and assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and nephrologists.
• Interpret telemetry strips.
• Float to similar Med‑Surg units as needed.

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Epic Electronic Medical Records proficiency.
• Minimum 3 years of recent Med‑Surg and Telemetry experience; renal experience strongly preferred.
• Candidates must meet all prerequisites at submission.
• Competency test required on Day 1; immediate contract termination upon failure.
• No on‑call requirement.
• RTO must be disclosed at submission and included in confirmation.
• Facility reserves the right to cancel hours as necessary.
