Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,899 per week
About the Role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med Surg position at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.
Unit Specifics
- Number of Beds: Ortho has 30 beds, Med Surg has 37
- Patient Ratios: Usually 6:1
- Unit staffing includes PCTs and SNEs in tech roles, with a unit secretary available during day shifts
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling: Month-long increments (4 weeks); full-time staff must work 4 weekend shifts (e.g., 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday)
- Floating policy: Float to inpatient units for patient care; float with tasks in CCU and ED
- Patient Experience: All experience levels welcome to apply
Hospital Specifics
- Certifications Required: BLS
Responsibilities
- Manage a patient load with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Utilize teamwork strategies to provide patient-centered care
- Assist with bedside procedures as needed (though less common than in CCU/ED)
Requirements
- RN, LPN, or PCT licensure
- BLS certification
- Willingness to work hard and collaborate with the team
