Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,804 per week
About the role
A large Level 1 Trauma center in Alabama is in need of experienced Cardiothoracic Med/Surg Travel Nurses as soon as possible. The position requires at least 2 full years of experience in a Level 1 Teaching facility and holds ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in a Med/Surg setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and quality of care
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols
- Perform routine assessments and document findings accurately
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Participate in ongoing education and skill maintenance
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- At least 2 full years of experience in a Level 1 Teaching facility
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of Med/Surg nursing practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for travel nursing and flexible scheduling
