About the role
The healthcare professional specializing in Medical Surgical Nursing will be working on a telemetry-focused medical surgical floor in a facility located in Mequon, Wisconsin. This position involves providing patient care within a high-acuity environment requiring experience in telemetry and med/surg settings, with a focus on adhering to facility-specific protocols such as NIH (National Institutes of Health) protocols. Float rotation may be required, either onsite within the skill set or to sites within 40 miles of the primary location.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a telemetry-focused medical surgical floor
- Adhere to facility-specific protocols and clinical standards
- Read and interpret telemetry data
- Float onsite or to sites within 40 miles as needed
Requirements
- At least 2 years of med/surg experience
- Experience reading telemetry
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- Previous travel experience
- No artificial or acrylic nails; nails must be short (1/4 inch)

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
