AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Gadsden, Alabama. This position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts.

Gadsden, Alabama is a quaint town in the northeastern corner of the state, known for its charming town square, 90 ft. waterfall at Noccalula Falls Park, and outdoor activities along the Coosa River, including hiking, water sports, and two championship golf courses. The area offers affordable housing options such as apartments, townhouses, and RV parks.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in a travel assignment setting.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact accepted).
• BLS certification (copy required).
• Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for compliance.
• One professional reference covering your entire work history.
• Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius of the assignment location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.

Pay

Pay rate ranges from $1,670.00 to $1,756.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week. Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
