About the role
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This position involves providing direct nursing care in a general surgical adult unit with telemetry capabilities. The nurse will implement and monitor patient care plans, assess patient conditions, and coordinate discharge planning, all within a fast-paced, high-stress environment. The role supports a team-oriented approach with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6, supported by patient care technicians and a healthcare unit coordinator.
This department serves a general surgical adult population, utilizing telemetry monitoring and virtual sitter technology. Travelers may work up to six weekend shifts in a six-week schedule period and during holidays if necessary. Float rotation may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in a general surgical adult unit with telemetry capabilities

Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- CPR certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher preferred
- 0 years of experience
- Oklahoma state licensure or eligibility
- Ability to work nights
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a telemetry unit
- Familiarity with virtual sitter monitoring and telemetry technology
Schedule
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
