Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,673 per week

About the role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a 13-week assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. This position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical setting
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Apply specialized skills in neuro and neurosurgery patient care

Requirements

• Active RN license (Compact accepted)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA (copy required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• Neuro & Neurosurgery experience
• No more than 30 days gap in work history
• SSN and date of birth required for compliance

Pay

Pay rate: $1,631.00 - $1,715.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
