Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,626 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Med/Surg position at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. The assignment is a 13‑week hospital contract starting ASAP, with 36 hours per week worked in 12‑hour shifts (07:00‑19:00).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a medical‑surgical environment.
• Monitor and document patient conditions accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care.
• Assist with procedures related to total joint, spine, and other surgeries.
• Ensure compliance with unit policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1‑year current acute care hospital Med/Surg/Ortho experience.
• BLS certification.

Pay

Pay range: $2,307.64 – $2,423.02 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

Shift: 07:00 – 19:00 (12‑hour shifts). 36 hours per week (typically three shifts). Contract length: 13 weeks.
