Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg - $1,535 per week

About the role

Medical Surgical Nurse, located in Corpus Christi, Texas, supports a 22-bed unit with a focus on patient-centered care for surgical and medical patients. The role involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing standard nursing skills and adhering to unit policies and protocols. Assignment starts 10/19/2026 for 13 weeks (through 01/18/2027).

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients, including monitoring, medication administration, and documentation in the electronic health record system.
• Float rotation may be required.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute medical-surgical experience
• Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time
• Certification in basic nursing competencies
• Must provide proof of current RN licensure and certifications upon submission

Qualifications

• Experience in orthopedic nursing (preferred)
