Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Duluth, Georgia. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts on July 13, 2026.

Required Qualifications
- One year of recent Med Surg RN experience
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- NIHSS certification
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
Summary
The Med Surg Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units. Key responsibilities include explaining procedures, administering treatments, conducting assessments, preparing patients for procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Essential Work Functions
- Explain procedures and treatments to patients and families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Document patient information accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Manage patient care based on acuity
- Ensure infection control practices
- Advocate for patients' needs
- Facilitate discharge planning
- Perform other duties as assigned
