Travel Nurse RN - Maternal - Newborn - $2,801 per week
About the role
As a Mother/Baby nurse, also sometimes called a Postpartum RN, you'll be tasked with caring for both mother and child after birth has taken place. Mother/Baby RNs carefully monitor both patients, providing care and watching for any post-birth complications that may arise. Mother/Baby RNs also help counsel new parents on the first steps of infant care prior to their release from the hospital.
This is a travel nursing position in Ithaca, New York, with a start date of 09/07/2026, lasting 13 weeks. The role requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.
Responsibilities
- Care for both mother and newborn after birth
- Monitor patients for post-birth complications
- Provide counseling to new parents on infant care
