Travel Nurse RN - Long Term Care (LTC) Long Term Care - $2,830 per week
Job Summary
This position is based at a skilled nursing and long-term care facility. The role involves providing quality care to a diverse patient population with varying medical conditions, including post-acute residents and long-term residents. The position requires experienced nursing professionals dedicated to patient well-being and operational excellence.
Position Description
The role involves caring for residents with diagnoses such as sepsis, femur fractures, NSTEMI, CKF, CHF, and UTIs. The unit has a mix of long-term and short-term patients, with approximately 30 residents per unit, on a 60-resident floor with private rooms.
Certifications
- CPR certification must be obtained prior to the first day of work.
Education & Experience
- Must have at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a Long Term Care setting.
Shift Details
- Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a schedule of nights, every other weekend required, and scheduled according to facility needs with a 48-hour minimum weekly commitment.
Responsibilities
- Pass medications,
- Perform wound care,
- Perform Foley/Cath care,
- Perform PEG tube feedings,
- Perform ostomy and trache care,
- Manage IVs, PICC lines, and mediports (RN responsibility).
Additional Clinical Needs
- The facility has on-site pharmacy,
- The facility has tele monitors,
- The facility provides access to interdisciplinary team members such as PT, OT, SLP, case managers, social workers, dieticians, pharmacists, and medical records.
Orientation
Two shifts of facility-specific orientation before starting.

- No private COVID-specific units,
- Enhances droplet precautions for COVID-19,
- On-site pharmacist,
- Medication received from hospital,
- N95 respirator use as needed.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
