Job Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care within a nursing home attached to a hospital, focusing on elderly, dementia, frail, and rehabilitation patients. The position offers night shifts with a focus on clinical assessments, charting, medication management, and specialized skills such as IV therapy and cath care.
Job Details
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts with every other weekend and holiday coverage; minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Licensure to practice as a nurse practitioner
- No minimum years of experience required
- Location within 80 miles of the facility
Preferred Qualifications
- Elderly care experience
- Experience with elderly patient populations
Additional Information
Responsible for charting, assessments, charge duties, medication administration, and clinical skills including IVs, catheters, and ostomy care. Night shift includes a multidisciplinary team, on-site RT and pharmacy, and requires professional dress in solid, clean attire. Clinicians must have worked for the organization at least six months prior to submission and clock in/out at the facility.

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
