• Ratios: Nurses 1: 10 on day 1:19 nights

Job Duties

• Nurse act as charge and pass meds and perform wound care.

Experience or 'Must have' skills

• LTC experience

Other Information

• No clinical involvement.
• No IVs or titratable drips.
• No tele monitors.
• No monitor techs on this unit.
• No RNs reading strips.
• No attending team conferences for acute inpatient rehab.
• No DON/Charge Nurse/House Supervisor.
• No physician availability after hours.
• No interdisciplinary team.
• No PT/OT/SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians.
• No RT on-site 24/7.
• No oxygen therapy / equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow).
• No pharmacy on-site.
• No scrub color/dress code.
• 2-3 shifts of unit/department specific orientation.

Radiation Oncology Treatment (RTO) Information

• Type of Facility: Long Term Care
• Number of RTOs needed upfront: 7 or less days per 13 week contract.
• Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
