Responsibilities
- Care for 5-6 patients
- Adjust and perform in fast-paced environment
- Monitor and administer medications
- Educate patients and family on surgical processes and how to manage their illness/injury
- Maintain specialized equipment used on patients
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings
- Perform duties required of a registered nurse
- Provide care for patients with pulmonary HTN, respiratory failure, COPD, CHF, and A-Fib
- Administer IVs, draw blood, and complete patient care from start to finish
Requirements
- Active RN License
- BLS & ACLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Long Term Acute Care setting
- Experience with Vents, Trachs, Drips, EG Tubes, and ability to read Tele-strips
