About the role
Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum for a 13-week assignment in Kotzebue, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum periods.
- Assist physicians with deliveries and manage postpartum care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current RN license in Alaska.
- American Heart Association (AHA) certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
- National Certification in Obstetric Nursing (ANCC) preferred.
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- At least one year of relevant clinical experience.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
