Travel Nurse RN - Labor & Delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring pregnant women and fetal well-being, performing tests, and educating patients about childbirth processes.
• Supporting labor through monitoring contractions, administering medications, and offering emotional support.
• Assisting with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including neonatal resuscitation and immediate newborn assessments.
• Providing postpartum care, supporting breastfeeding, and educating on recovery and newborn care.
• Documenting all care activities accurately and collaborating with healthcare team members for individualized patient care.
• Ensuring infection control, responding to emergencies, and managing high-risk situations.
• Advocating for patients and educating families about labor options and postpartum recovery.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification.
• Competency in L&D procedures.
• Relevant experience in labor and delivery.
