About the role
Provide specialized nursing care in labor and delivery settings, ensuring the safety and well-being of mothers and newborns.
Responsibilities
- Perform labor and delivery nursing duties with adherence to clinical protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs and condition
- Absorb and communicate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist with childbirth procedures and emergency interventions
- Support patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum phases
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid RN license with L&D skills checklist
- Successful completion of Labor and Delivery RN exam
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
