About the role
Provide specialized nursing care in labor and delivery settings. Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring labor progress, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring maternal and neonatal safety. Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver quality care and support patient needs during childbirth.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care
- Monitor fetal and maternal vital signs
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an L&D RN
- Active RN license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and likely AWHONN
