Key Responsibilities
- Assess maternal and fetal health, administer treatments, and monitor fetal activity through fetal monitoring interpretation.
- Assist during labor, delivery, cesarean sections, and postpartum care, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, respond to obstetric emergencies, and document care accurately.
- Participate in quality improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year recent labor and delivery RN experience.
- Valid RN license, current BLS, and NRP certifications.
- PREFERRED: Fetal Monitoring, ACLS, and STABLE certifications.
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to move and assist with procedures, and mental resilience to handle high-pressure situations.
