Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,900 per week

About the Role

This position involves providing specialized care for patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods within a Level II Trauma Center. The role requires flexibility to float between units and includes participation in high-risk obstetric cases, including antepartum, pre-eclampsia, diabetes, multiple gestations, VBAC/TOLAC, induction, augmentation, and maternal emergencies.

Schedule

• Nights; 12-hour shifts
• Minimum 48 hours per week
• Duration: 26 weeks
• Start Date: 08/31/2026

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington or Compact registered nurse (RN) license in hand
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• 2 years of experience in labor and delivery with high-risk obstetric care
• Experience with facility births/month 200-300, high-risk antepartum, use of intrauterine pressure catheters, maintaining central lines, administering magnesium sulfate, assisting with high-risk deliveries, and fetal monitoring methods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trauma level II facility
• Specialized obstetric procedures such as cerclages, versions, high-risk maternal-fetal medicine patients, and cardiac patients

Additional Information

• Supports a busy unit with approximately 25 beds, handling around 3600 deliveries annually
• Candidates should be familiar with various obstetric and neonatal procedures, including sterile exams, fetal monitoring, medication administration, and postpartum care
• Position may require floating between units and adherence to interdisciplinary team protocols
• Candidates must meet specific compliance document deadlines and disclose prior experience at the facility during the application process
