About the role
Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Boise, Idaho.
Responsibilities
- Float only within Women's Services (Antepartum, L&D & Postpartum)
- High-risk OB population including preeclampsia, PPROM, placenta previa, diabetes, multiples, and other complex pregnancies
- AWHONN staffing ratios (1:6 couplet care postpartum)
- 24/7 Laborist, Neonatologist & CRNA coverage
- RN independently transitions mom & baby when NICU is unavailable
- Charge RN on every shift
- NICU team attends deliveries as needed
- Clinical Skills: Antepartum, Labor & Delivery & Postpartum care, Pitocin, Magnesium & Insulin drips, Newborn transition & postpartum couplet care, Car seat studies
- Scheduling: 4x12-hour nights (6:45 PM–7:30 AM), Every other weekend, Minimal holiday requirements, No call required
Requirements
- Active RN license (license pending accepted)
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS & STABLE required
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring required
- 3+ years of L&D experience required
- Must have Labor & Delivery, Antepartum & Postpartum experience OR circulating experience preferred
- Previous travel experience required (No first-time travelers)
