Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,547 per week

Responsibilities

• Work in a 43‑bed licensed LTC and Skilled facility (no designated memory care unit, no assisted living).
• Manage three hallways with private and semi‑private rooms; nurses station centrally located.
• Maintain average census of 25‑27 residents.
• Day staffing: 1 RN, 1 Med Aide, 2 CNAs, 1 Bath Aide, 1 Restorative Care CNA.
• Night staffing: 1 RN and 1 CNA (additional CNA sometimes available 6:00 PM‑10:00 PM).
• Charting using Point Click Care.
• Communication via pagers.
• Use sit‑to‑stand and Hoyer lifts.
• Administer medications from medication carts with bubble‑pack distribution.
• IV fluids administered at the hospital, not at the LTC facility.
• On rare occasions perform blood draws on residents (lab draws performed by hospital staff).

Requirements

• Licensed as an LPN in the State of Nebraska or a Compact State.
• Hold an active BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience working as an LPN in a Long‑Term Care setting.
• Will not float between hospital and LTC.
• Adhere to dress code: professional scrub top and bottom (any color) must be worn at all times; no facility logos/names on scrubs; no Crocs; fingernails appropriate length; piercings professional and not excessive; tattoos and vibrant hair colors permitted.
