Responsibilities

• Provide obstetric care to mothers and newborns through all stages of labor and delivery

Requirements

• Current Alaska RN license
• Recent OB experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems (recommended)
• Strong clinical assessment, adaptability, and communication skills

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse, LD Licenses: RN-AK
• 1 Reference in entire work history

Location

Bethel is located west of Anchorage, Alaska and can only be accessed by water or air. It has a subarctic climate with long snowy cold winters and mild, short summers and is the main port and transportation hub for 56 villages in that area of Alaska. Annual events in Bethel include a Dogsled Race, a Fair in August, and a Traditional Dance Festival in the Spring.

Pay

Pay Rate: $3279.00 - $3447.00 per week. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
