Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,045 per week

About the role

This RN position is based in a Labor and Delivery unit within a healthcare organization in the northeastern region of Nevada. The role involves providing care across labor, postpartum, and nursery services, with potential to float to other departments based on patient census and department needs. It offers an opportunity to work in a Level 1 nursery setting, supporting adult and newborn patient populations with a focus on obstetric and neonatal care. The position is in an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit equipped with Omnicell medication dispensers, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and GE fetal heart rate monitoring technology, serving antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal patients.

Responsibilities

• Providing care across labor, postpartum, and nursery services.
• Floating to other departments as needed based on patient census and department needs.
• Working in an LDRP unit with Omnicell medication dispensers, Baxter pumps, Masimo monitors, and GE fetal heart rate monitoring technology.
• Supporting antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care for adult and newborn patients.

Requirements

• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, or nursery.
• Must reside greater than 60 miles from the facility.
• Located within 3 hours of Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

• Experience in nonstress testing, fetal monitoring, management of pre-eclampsia/eclampsia, hemorrhages, cesarean sections, neonatal hyperbilirubinemia, and infant procedures.
• Knowledgeable, flexible, team player, hardworking.

Schedule

Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
