About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Experience with labor and delivery, including ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment.
- Experience with shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other potential OB emergencies preferred.
- Advanced skills needed: Fetal monitoring education, experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil).
- Perform procedures on the unit such as C-sections, circumcisions, intra-uterine monitoring, vacuum or forceps assisted deliveries.
- Receive fetal monitoring training.
Requirements
- Must have labor and delivery experience including the ability to labor and recover the mother as well as receive and transition the newborn including assessment.
- Experience with shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and other potential OB emergencies preferred.
- Advanced skills needed: Fetal monitoring education, experience with inductions (Pitocin, cervidil).
Qualifications
- BLS certification required.
- NRP certification required.
- Fetal Monitoring training required.
