Job Summary

This is a registered nurse (RN) position in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) department located in Rutland, Vermont. The role involves providing specialized care during the delivery process and the immediate postpartum period on a 12-hour night shift from 6:45 pm to 7:15 am.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Association of Womens Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) fetal monitoring certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to assess and care for newborns at delivery, in the delivery room, and in the operating room

Additional Information

  • Orientation: Held on a biweekly basis
  • Schedule Requests: Subject to manager approval
  • Work History: Must include correct health system name and campus, bed count, EMR technology, facility type, trauma level (if applicable), and ratios
  • Transportation: Reliable transportation is required, as public transit is not accessible

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
