About the role
Travel Labor and Delivery Nurse assignments in Riverside, CA place you in a fast-paced labor and delivery unit at a community hospital with 11 labor and delivery beds, 4 OB evaluation beds, 2 OB PACU beds, and 2 operating rooms. The hospital is a designated trauma center and serves a diverse patient population in the Inland Empire. You will monitor mothers and newborns, assist with deliveries, and provide postpartum care using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities
- Monitor mothers and newborns during labor and delivery
- Assist with deliveries
- Provide postpartum care

Requirements
- Current nursing licensure
- Recent labor and delivery experience (2 years required)
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Work history with no more than 90 days gap in the last year
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification
