Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,940 per week

About the role

Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in a high-volume, high-census healthcare facility. This role involves providing care for high-risk obstetric patients, including postpartum treatment and managing deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients, including postpartum treatment and managing deliveries.
• Manage patient census with postpartum patients following delivery, including high-risk obstetric cases.
• Handle multiple deliveries (standard four couplets) and be capable of managing a fourth couplet when needed.
• Adapt to census surges.
• Work flexible holiday schedule (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years Day).

Requirements

• Valid state license with a compact license in hand at submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent high-acuity obstetric care experience.
• Experience with Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin, Foley placement, postpartum hemorrhage management.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting system.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required.
• Provide references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
