About the role
Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment starting on July 20, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Floating between labor and delivery, med-surg, and postpartum units.
- Taking care of patients under the supervision of experienced staff.
- Working 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights only.
- Handling up to 2:1 patient-to-nurse ratios in postpartum and up to 6:1 in med-surg.
- Average of 3 deliveries per month.
- Using Cerner charting software.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, PALS OR ENPC certifications required.
- Experience in labor and delivery preferred, but training will be provided.
- C-section experience is not required as all deliveries will be performed by other staff.
- Must be able to work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights only.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as an RN in good standing.
- At least one year of relevant experience in labor and delivery.
- Experience working in med-surg settings.
