Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,901 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery position at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, CA. Start date 10/19/2026, 13‑week assignment, 36 guaranteed hours per week working 12‑hour night shifts (3×12). The role includes weekend work and on‑call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform NST, cervical exams, manage labor, titrate medications, assist with McRoberts maneuver.
• Provide care in labor beds, OB evaluation, OB PACU, and OR settings.
• Work with GE fetal monitoring equipment and CPN/Meditech EMR systems.
• Float to Postpartum‑Couplets unit when needed.
• Unit details: 11 labor beds, 4 OB evaluation, 2 OB PACU, 2 ORs; staffed by 79 personnel (day/night charge nurses, staff, OB techs); patient ratios 1:2 (or 1:1 as needed).

Requirements

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification.
• Ability to provide Couplet Care if floated.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN EFM certifications (required).

Qualifications

• Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, preferably as a Transition Nurse/Baby Catcher.
• Current RN license in good standing.

Skills

• Proficiency with GE fetal monitoring.
• Experience using CPN and Meditech EMR systems.
• Ability to maintain patient ratios of 1:2 (or 1:1) and adapt to day/night staffing models.
• Strong communication and teamwork in a multidisciplinary OB unit.
