Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,844 per week

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 12-week assignment starting August 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for high-risk mothers and newborns including patients with placenta accreta, pre-eclampsia, and COVID
- Perform tubal ligations, cerclage, hysterectomies, assist as secondary nurse for C-section deliveries, circulate in vaginal deliveries, surgical recovery, massive transfusions, and newborn care
- Average of 280 deliveries per month
- Patient ratios: 1:1-2 for active labor, 1:3 for antepartum; follows AWHONN staffing guidelines
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP, FHM
- Required skills include fetal monitoring, maternal assessments and interventions, care for high-risk newborns and mothers post-delivery, cervical exams for labor progression, OB triage, assisting with circulating C-sections, primary nurse for vaginal deliveries, post-partum, and L&D recoveries
- Charting system and equipment: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, Fetal Monitoring, and Epidural Pumps
- May float to Postpartum and Women's Care Center; travelers will float first
- No set schedules; must be available to work 7 days a week and will be plugged into the schedule where needed
- Every other weekend required; block scheduling and patterned scheduling not guaranteed
- Every other holiday required based on start date
- On-call: none, except for low census situations with potential to be called back in
- Scrubs provided
- Free parking available in designated areas
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
- Must have Level III Perinatal Care Experience; no exceptions will be made for travelers without this experience
- Average of 280 deliveries per month

Qualifications
- Must have a current, unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Wisconsin
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- Current FHM certification
