About the role
13-week travel nursing assignment in Portage, Wisconsin. 36 guaranteed hours per week with 12-hour variable day/night shifts. 2 weekends out of 4 as needed with holiday rotations every other holiday. Primary placement in an 8-bed OB unit (2 labor rooms, 6 post-partum) that handles Level 1 maternity, Level 1 nursery, and post-op GYN patients. May float to Med/Surg, ER, or ICU for tasks only (vital signs, answering lights, completing patient histories—no patient assignments and no isolation rooms). May also float to other Southern-region locations as needed. No on-call or back-up requirements; additional shifts may be available to pick up for sick calls.

- Cover labor, post-partum, and nursery (not separate units)
- Float to other units or locations as described above
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of OB experience with Labor and Delivery experience
- At least 1 prior travel assignment
- Critical access hospital experience highly preferred
- Labor and Delivery competency required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, Advanced NRP, WI RN license (AWHONN and PALS preferred; AHA or ARC certifications required)
- Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,808 plus a $500 contract-completion bonus. Pay package includes tax-free stipends for lodging, meals, and incidentals.
