Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,797 per week

About the role

13-week travel nursing assignment for an RN Labor and Delivery position at North Austin Medical Center, 4th floor. 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts with alternating weekends. No call requirement.

Unit information

• 32 beds, 150 staff members
• Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 1 co-charge nurse, RNs to accommodate 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 1 co-charge nurse, RNs to accommodate 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Patient ratios: 1:2
• Equipment: Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, US
• EMR: Meditech
• Permanent positions available on unit

Requirements

Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• EFM, ACLS, BLS, NRP, SVE competency, C-Section circulation
• 2+ years nursing experience in Labor and Delivery

Preferred: Candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Internal monitor placement competency
• Previous HCA assignment or employment
• Experience in Level IV unit (high volume unit)

Responsibilities

• Perform typical procedures: SVD, cerclages, C-Sections, TOLAC
• Adhere to unit attendance policy
• Follow dress code: navy blue scrubs; no t-shirts; solid blue, black, or grey sweatshirts only
