Labor and Delivery Nurse in Bakersfield, California. Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts; 12-hour shifts; minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
• acute care facility experience preferred;
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required;
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor required;
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required;
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS required;
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) required;
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS required.

Additional Information

• Facility-specific notes will be provided at the time of orientation.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
• The position involves supervising and coordinating nursing staff, participating in discharge planning, and ensuring a safe, healing environment for patients.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
