HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Richmond, Virginia.
Unit details
- Number of beds: 24
- Number of staff: 71
- Type of staff – Day Shift: labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary, leadership, educator
- Type of staff – Night Shift: labor nurse, nursery nurse, OB tech, secretary
- Patient ratios – labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1
- Type of equipment – GE fetal monitors
- EMR – Meditech, CPN
Requirements
- At least 2 years of labor experience
- BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs; MIU nurses have pink badges for infant security
- Weekends and on call: Every third weekend with 12 hours of call per 4 week schedule
Preferred qualifications
- 2+ years of labor experience with a history working in an LDRP with high birth volumes

Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
