Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,745 per week

Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position available in Miles City, Montana. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department, providing health education and supportive treatment to promote patient well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform health data assessments
• Provide health teaching and health counseling
• Deliver therapy and treatment planning
• Execute resource utilization and medical functions
• Facilitate patient referral
• Monitor treatment plans
• Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts

Required Qualifications

• ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited school of nursing
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in Montana
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience or training appropriate for the labor and delivery unit

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree of Nursing
• Certification as appropriate for the unit or service
• Previous experience in labor and delivery nursing

Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
