Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,734 per week

About the role

Seeking a highly experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a busy maternal-care unit providing labor, delivery, operative obstetric, and immediate recovery care. Candidates must be clinically independent, collaborative, and comfortable working within a census-based staffing model.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor, delivery, operative obstetric, and immediate recovery care.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Support L&D operating room procedures.
• Manage labor cases.
• Handle common procedures such as vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Staff and support as needed, including Charge Nurse, Registered Nurses, Unit Clerk, and Surgical Technologist.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Strong experience with vaginal deliveries and c-sections.
• Comfortable with L&D operating room procedures.
• Active California RN license.
• Current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Meditech with CPN charting.
• Rotating weekends based on the collective bargaining agreement.
