About the role
Malone Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN for a 13-week assignment in Lexington, Nebraska. This position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts. Facility-provided housing is available for a monthly charge of $30 per shift worked, paid by cash or check to Lexington Regional. Local travelers (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome but will receive a $10 bill rate reduction. All candidates must have prior travel experience.
Schedule
- Start date: 09/28/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (3x12/NIGHTS - every other week, blocked shifts may be considered)
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Facility work week: Sunday to Saturday
- Orientation: Tuesdays only
- Call-off policy: 3 shifts per 13-week contract without penalty or payment of guarantee
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum (PP), and Well-Baby Nursery
- Float to Med/Surg as needed (Lexington Regional Hospital is a 25-bed critical access facility)
- Perform multiple duties in a multifaceted role due to the small size of the facility
- Charting: Cerner
Requirements
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA/ARC), ACLS (AHA/ARC), PALS (AHA/ARC or ENPC), NRP
- Preferred certifications: TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, SANE
- Scrubs: Navy (preferred) or any solid color
- Prior travel experience required
